Objective of the course - to impart necessary knowledge & skill to the trainees in the trade so that they are able to seek employment in the food processing industry, or become self-employed in the field.
Trainee Entry level - Passed Matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system with Science(Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or equivalent
Course Duration - One year full time course.
Course Contents :- Course covers topics like fruit beverages, canning of fruits & vegetables; making of pickles, chutneys, sauces etc.; spoilage in preserved fruits & vegetable, use & handling of related equipment, containers, preservatives, etc..
Trainee Exit Level :- On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to
The workshop, developed for this course, is equipped
with common equipment like Refractometer, Hydrometer, Jelmeter,
thermo-meter, vacuum gauge, pressure gauge, seam checking gauge, common
balance, etc. and various containers, knives etc.
