** Electronic Mechanic General (Basic skill programme - Craftsmen Training Scheme) :- Objective of the course - to impart basic skill & knowledge to trainees in the trade so as to prepare trainees for employment in Electronic Units. Trainee Entry level - pass in Matriculation (Xth) of 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Maths or equivalent. Course Duration - Two year full time course Course Contents :- Course coverage includes understanding the electronic component, meters, current, amplification, oscillations, signals, receivers, fault finding in related equipment, etc. Engineering drawing & workshop calculations form part of the course. As a part of the course, the trainees are sent for 2/3 weeks on-the-job training in the Electronic manufacturing units Trainee Exit Level :- On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to gain employment in Electronic assembly units/ manufacturing units. The workshop, developed for this course, is equipped with required meters, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, signal generator, TV receiver units, etc. Objective of the course - The course has been designed to provide trainees the necessary Knowledge & skills so that they are able to test the subassemblies and final assemblies & diagnose the faults in B & W and colour T.V Sets and repair the same. Trainee Entry level - candidates who have successfully undertaken a basic skill course (NCVT approved)/ Diploma in Electronics/Radio T.V mechanics. Desirable: Work experience in Electronic industry Course Duration - Eight months full time course; Course Contents :- The course coverage includes Basic & Advanced Electronics; Testing & repairing of B & W/Colour TV Sets; & Introduction to latest technology in TV systems & V.C.R.
