Electronics Mechanic Two Years Pass Matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system with Science(Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or equivalent
Instrument Mechanic Two Years -  do --

Computer Operator & Programming Assistant One Year 
 
Pass 12th class under 10+2 system OR duly recognized 3 years Diploma in Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic after 10th class (Other things  being equal, the candidates with higher qualifications are given preference) 
Desk Top Publishing One Year Passed class 12th under 10+2 system with English typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English

Desirable: Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Regional Language

Dress Making One Year Passed Matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
Secretarial Practice(English) One Year Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or equivalent with proficiency in English.
Hair & Skin Care One Year Passed Matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination
Stenography(Hindi) One Year Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or equivalent with proficiency in Hindi.
Fruit & Vegetables Preservation One Year Passed Matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system with Science(Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or equivalent
Interior Decoration & Designing One Year Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
Catering & Hospitality One Year Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
Computer Aided Embroidery & Needle Work Six months Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
Travel & Tour Assistant One Year Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or equivalent

Training Methodology/Principles of Teaching [Instructor (General)] Four Months for non-engg. trades (3 batches in a year - Starting from August, December & April)  
 

Three Months for engg. trades (3 batches in a year - Starting from August, December & April)  

NCVT Certificate in any trade or Diploma in any field# from recognized Board of Technical Education.

Entrepreneurship Development and Business Services (This course is not under NCVT; Certificate would be issued at institute level) Four Months (3 batches in a year) - Starting from August, December & April)

**For CITS courses, Merit List criteria/ weightage (proportionate to the % marks obtained in the concerned exams)

Academic(maximum weightage = 40%): Matriculation- 30%, 10+2 - 5%, Graduation-5%

Technical(maximum weightage = 60%): NTC- 50%, Diploma- 60%

Admission in Trade Module II/ Trade Technology II will be given if and only if a candidate has appeared in Trade Module I/ Trade Technology I. In case of failure in TM-I/ TT-I, the candidate has to clear TM-I/ TT-I within 3 years from the date of admission.

# AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education) approved Diploma

Note:

DGE&T reserves the right to discontinue/ postpone/ not to start training programme in any of the trades and/ or increase/ decrease the seating capacity at its discretion without assigning any reason.

NCVT certificate will be provided after successful completion of Training Methodology/Principles of Teaching [Instructor (General)] and relevant trade modules.
